Metadichol® and Vitamin C: The Case Study

In this 5^th edition of Research Central, we’ll be exploring a case study by Dr. PR Raghavan, the creator of NANO SOMA®, which follows the vitamin C levels of six individuals as they ingested Metadichol® – the patented name of NANO SOMA. Vitamin C

In the ongoing search for new ways to support the body’s balance, few topics are as well-established and as widely discussed as vitamin C. Known for its role in immune function, antioxidant protection, and cellular health, vitamin C is typically understood as something we must obtain through diet or supplementation. Humans, unlike most animals, cannot produce it on their own.

A small but intriguing case study titled “Metadichol® Induced High Levels of Vitamin C” challenges that assumption. This research explores how Metadichol®, a nano-emulsion derived from long-chain alcohols, may influence how the body maintains and regulates its vitamin C levels.* 

What the Study Explored

The study followed six individuals who were given low doses of Metadichol (NANO SOMA) over a short period of time. Rather than supplementing with vitamin C directly, researchers observed what would happen to vitamin C levels in the body as a result of this intervention alone.

Across all participants, vitamin C levels increased – sometimes quite dramatically. In several cases, levels rose multiple times above baseline, reaching ranges that would typically require significant supplementation to achieve. These increases occurred without any additional intake of vitamin C, suggesting something more complex was at play than simple dietary absorption.

Interpreting the Findings

The author, P. R. Raghavan, proposes that Metadichol (NANO SOMA) supports the body’s endogenous production of vitamin C.* Rather than acting as a direct source, he suggests that NANO SOMA influences how vitamin C is recycled, retained, or made more bioavailable within the body.*

This is a fascinating finding.

Vitamin C is not simply used once and discarded; it exists in a dynamic cycle, shifting between active and oxidized forms. Under optimal conditions, the body can regenerate and reuse it, maintaining functional levels as it supports antioxidant activity, collagen production, and immune signaling. The suggestion here is that NANO SOMA enhances this internal efficiency, helping the body “hold onto” and reuse vitamin C more effectively, rather than relying solely on external intake.*

And because this vitamin C is endogenous, it is suggested that much higher levels can be maintained, absorbed, and used than is possible through supplementation.
